Registering a patient
Patient profiles can be created by tenant staff during onboarding or by guardians who register through the patient portal. Each profile carries an MRN that is unique within your tenant.
Coordinator-led registration
From Tenant > Patients > New, enter the patient's first and last name, contact details, date of birth, and gender. flows.care automatically assigns the next MRN using your tenant's prefix and sequence counter.
Bilingual names
Patient first and last names are stored in both English and Arabic. The names display in the patient's preferred language by default; admin views show both. Use the Arabic name fields whenever you have an authoritative Arabic spelling — it makes letters and printed labels look professional.
About the MRN
Your tenant's MRN format is `[prefix]-NNNNNN`. The prefix is configurable per tenant; the numeric sequence increments atomically as you create patients, so two coordinators can register patients simultaneously without colliding.
