Cross-clinic consent
Viewing a consented record (recipient clinic)
When a patient grants you consent, the data appears under Tenant > Consents on the receiving clinic side. This article walks through what you'll see.
Opening a grant
From Tenant > Consents, click the Platform ID of any active grant. Active grants are linked; revoked or expired ones are plain text and cannot be opened. The detail page shows the patient identity, the source clinic, the granted scopes, and one section per granted scope.
Which sections show
Each section renders only when its scope is in the grant: Basic record (records.read), Medical history (medical_history.read), Appointment history (appointments.read), Progress notes (progress_notes.read). Sections you weren't granted simply do not appear — there's no "empty section" placeholder for scopes you don't have.
Expired or revoked grants
Once a grant expires or is revoked, the consented-record endpoint returns 403 and the grant becomes read-only on the list. Audit history of past access stays in the system but the data is no longer fetchable. Ask the patient to issue a new grant if continued access is needed.
