Approving a clinic's link request

When a clinic asks to link a record they hold (created locally for you) to your platform identity, the request appears on your Consents page. Approving aggregates that record under your platform identity in the portal. It does NOT give the clinic any new data access.

What's the request

A coordinator at a clinic where you're a patient asks to attach your local record there to your platform identity. We email a verification code to your registered platform email and a request appears in the portal.

Approving from the portal

Open Consents > Pending link requests. Each row shows the requesting clinic, the local record name, the platform ID, and the expiry. Click Approve to confirm or Reject if you don't recognise the request.

Approving with a code

If you're at the clinic in person, the coordinator can read you the 6-digit code. Enter it in the Approve with code box on the same page. Codes expire 15 minutes after they're issued and resends are rate-limited.
