Granting and managing consent
From Patient portal > Consents, the patient (or guardian on a managed patient's behalf) issues, views, and revokes consent grants. Each grant is pairwise: one source clinic, one recipient clinic, explicit scopes.
Granting a new consent
Click Grant Consent. Step 1: pick the source clinic — the clinic whose records you want to share, chosen from your existing clinics. Step 2: pick the recipient — either another of your existing clinics or a new clinic via name search. Pick the scopes (basic record, medical history, appointment history, progress notes), pick an expiry (30 days / 6 months / 1 year / no expiry), and submit.
Viewing active grants
The Consents page lists every grant you've issued with the recipient, source, scopes, status, and expiry. The Source column makes it explicit which clinic's records each grant covers.
Revoking
Click Revoke on any active grant. Access ends immediately; the grant row stays for audit history. To grant again later, issue a new grant.
